Fundraising for Teenage Cancer Trust

Teenage Cancer Trust

Hi, my name is Lauren Wild.

I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma when I was 13 years old. I had 4 rounds of chemotherapy and 2 months of radiotherapy. I'm now 16 and studying A levels in English Literature, Biology and Art.

During my treatment I received fantastic support from both Teenage Cancer Trust and Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. To show appreciation for their support, I, along with my family and friends, started a campaign to raise funds for these charities and 'Go Wild For Lauren' was born.

Through various events running up to the end of 2016 our friends and family have raised nearly £30,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust and the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.

Our new challenge is to raise an additional £20,000 to give a grand total of £50,000 by the end of this year!

The team are back for 2017 with number of events to support the Teenage Cancer Trust. See our events page to find out more.
